  • To present with confidence and verve to global executive team including UK CEO & global CEO
  • To convey message about revolutionary new technology with clarity and “wow factor”
  • To present convincingly to large audiences

ACTIONS

  • Provided constant, ongoing rehearsal over 3 days
  • Structured the script to allow speakers flexibility for natural pauses, spontaneous humour, audience interaction, audience questions
  • Provided tuition in stagecraft: physicality on stage & working with microphones floor marks, sound cues, light cues
  • Introduced use of actors playing characters within presentation
  • Ongoing performance feedback and specific notes eg. attention to vocal delivery; pace, intonation, gesture, posture

OUTCOME

  • Greater confidence in using stage space, dealing with audience and working to cues
  • Honed ability to “improvise” when technical problems were encountered
  • Created short, punchy presentation which worked perfectly with new technology that was unveiled
  • Use of actors added to theatricality – audience were entertained whilst taking away the core message
  • Extremely positive feedback from global executive leadership
